Do knee strengthening exercises actually strengthen the knee joint?

TheBanginbrazillian: most of these exercises focused on the around the knee and not the actual knee. do you have any tips on strengthening the actual joints?

Manu: Exercises focus on strengthening the muscles around the joint and if the muscles are strong the joint moves properly and is able to take compressive, shear and torsional load more effectively.  Exercises also help joint proprioception and the overload placed on the joint results in increased joint, intra/ extra articular ligament, articular cartilage and meniscus strength.

Some effective holistic medicine treatments include regular massage with Ashwagandha Bala oil or Sesame oil to strengthen the joint and muscles.   Taking Yograj Guggulu, Ashwagandha, Boswellia Serrata, Glucosamine, Omega 3 fatty acids to provide nutrition to the joint and improve tissue health.
