I have a weak digestive power. Constipation is a my very common problem and doctors always says that I get stomach infection every now and then. I keep myself out of problems by having antibiotics and stomach infection tablets every month with a course which I really don’t want to continue. I am looking for a herbal product which is safer to take on daily basis and keep me out of all my stomach infections, gastric and constipation issues. I will really appreciate if you can help.
Answer: Triphala is very helpful for improving overall health of the digestive system, Ghandhrav Haritaki for stomach and constipation. If you have chronic constipation with infrequent bowel movements and hard stool, Ayurveda recommends Ginger tea with 2-3 teaspoons of Castor oil. Turmeric is also very good for infections and digestive health.
